FAQ
How should I wash and care for my garment?
To preserve the integrity of the fabric and the longevity of the water-based print, we recommend washing cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Hang dry whenever possible to maintain shape and print quality.
If needed, tumble dry on low heat — please note that 100% cotton garments may naturally shrink 3–5% with heat exposure (many are pre-shrunk). Steam or iron inside-out on low. Do not iron directly over the screen-printed area.
Avoid stain treatments such as spray-and-wash or oxygen-based brighteners, as these can prematurely fade water-based inks. Following these guidelines will help your garment retain its softness, color depth, and premium feel for years to come.
Washing cold and air drying also reduces energy use and extends the life of your garment.

Materials & Production
Where are your garments made?
As of 2026, we have moved to source exclusively from manufacturers in the Americas. Our Mountain Messengers collection garments are made in the United States. Every facility we work with — including past international partners — is certified by the Fair Labor Association (FLA) and/or WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production). Ethical labor is non-negotiable for us.
What are your shirts made from?
Our tees are made from high-quality natural and recycled fibers, with a strong focus on USA-made organic cotton and responsibly sourced materials. We currently offer recycled triblend (recycled polyester + organic cotton + modal), organic cotton, and airlume cotton. We prioritize durability, softness, and lower environmental impact over fast-fashion volume.
How are your designs printed?
All garments are screen printed in small batches using water-based inks here in Colorado. These inks are softer to the touch, free from heavy PVC plastics, and create a more breathable, long-lasting print that dyes the garments (won't crack or peel).
Why don’t you use cheaper blanks?
Because cost-cutting in apparel usually means cutting corners on labor or materials. We choose certified ethical factories, domestic production, and sustainable fibers — even when it costs more. That choice reflects our values.
Impact & Mission
How does my purchase create impact?
We commit 3% of net company profits to community-led conservation, land stewardship, and cultural preservation initiatives in the Americas. In addition, we actively organize and activate community fundraising campaigns to meet or exceed our giving goals.
We believe impact should be built into the business model, not treated as a marketing afterthought. Every collection is designed with a real-world issue in mind and supports aligned partners doing frontline work.
Are you a nonprofit?
No. We are a for-profit company structured for long-term impact. Profitability allows us to sustain ethical production, fund initiatives consistently, and grow our giving capacity over time.
How do you choose your partners?
We prioritize community-led organizations and frontline conservation efforts rooted in accountability and cultural respect in North, Central, and South America. We maintain an internal checklist and consult experts on decolonial work and right relations with native communities. We prioritize partners who are working to conserve biodiverse ecosystems under pressure, often with direct sponsorship of land-based projects, community organizing, and company donations to existing programs. We look for long-term alignment, not short-term optics.
Fit & Sizing
Are your tees unisex?
Yes. Our core styles are unisex and designed to be worn by all genders. We believe clothing should be accessible, expressive, and not restricted by labels. Unisex tees have more length in the torso and sleeves, and come in a range of sizes.
How do I choose my size?
Please refer to the size chart on each product page. If you prefer a more relaxed fit, consider sizing up.
