Did you know screenprinting can be done without PVC or phthalates?

Most screenprinted graphic tees use plastisol — a PVC-based ink that sits on top of the fabric like a plastic film. Not ours. We exclusively use water-based inks that bond directly to the fiber, stay soft, and don't off-gas phthalates.

The result: a print that feels softer with every wash instead of cracking and peeling. Light, breathable, and built to last. You'll feel the difference the first time you put it on.

Not as a talking point, as a commitment. Every Mountain Messengers shirt is made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, woven, stitched, and dyed in the United States.

100% Organic Cotton
Made with GOTS-certified cotton. No synthetic blends, no recycled polyester. Pure cotton that breathes, softens with age, and composts at end of life.
USA-Made
Cut and sewn domestically. Shorter supply chain, transparent labor, lower shipping footprint. We're proud to be part of the 3% of fashion items made in the USA.
No Polyester.
Polyester sheds microplastics every wash. When we started, we offered a limited selection of recycled tri-blend, but now we only print on natural fibers.
Water-Safe Inks
Water-based, PVC-free, phthalate-free screenprinting inks. Safe for waterways, safe for skin.

Created through direct relationship with Kichwa Maestro Jhonny Javá and a Matsés community of the Peruvian Amazon — not inspired by the Amazon, rooted in it.

Over $5,000 directed to a Kichwa community along the Napo River in Peru, supporting the legacy and sovereignty of Native Amazonians since our founding. When we say a portion of every sale supports the lineage — that's what it looks like in practice.
